      The only reason the GoI won’t treat the Bedouin as anything more than ‘nomads’ is because if they recognize the Bedouin’s ties to the land and leave them alone, they’ll have to end the occupation of the Palestinian people and restore their rights and privileges and of course, remove the jewish settler population from Palestinian lands. And they aren’t about to do the right thing.
