Violent 'price tag' attacks follow fatal stabbing of West Bank settler

Following the fatal stabbing of a settler from Yitzhar by a Palestinian this morning, there are numerous reports of so-called “price tag” attacks of Palestinians in the northern West Bank.

Settlers from Yitzhar reportedly threw stones at a Palestinian school bus that had been stopped by the IDF, injuring a number of children who were evacuated to hospitals in Nablus, Rabbis for Human Rights and Maan reported. The settlers also set fire to a number of wheat fields, in addition to damaging olive and almond trees. The settlers were reportedly preventing firefighters from reaching the blaze.

Later, a Palestinian farmer from the village of Furik was attacked and left in moderate condition, also according to a report from RHR.

On a related note, the IDF is saying that the stabbing of the settler this morning was likely the work of an individual Palestinian acting on his own, Ynet reports.

Update:
Four settlers were arrested after entering Kfar Uris where they threw stones and attempted to set a building on fire, Ynet reported.
