Announcing the launch of ‘+972: This Week’ for iPhone, iPad

Dear Readers,

This month, we launched a new weekly magazine that brings the highlights of +972’s coverage in a beautiful app, available through the iTunes store for iPhones and iPads.

+972 This Week is a convenient and visually pleasing way to read the highlights of our weekly news, analysis and human interest stories in an attractive new interface, at your leisure. It is also a means of contributing to the magazine.
Announcing the launch of '+972: This Week' for iPhone, iPad
As you probably know, +972 is financed through readers’ support and foundation grants. While the funding we receive covers some of our overhead, none of the writers are paid. Your subscription revenues will go directly to the writers, making it possible to provide them with remuneration for their labor. This will go some way toward ensuring the continued production of one of the most widely read and trusted English-language news and information sites about Israel, Palestine and the wider Middle East.

In addition to the weekly magazine, we will occasionally publish special editions that collect a series of articles on a single subject or theme, like Yuval Ben-Ami’s unique travel series, or Haggai Matar’s award-winning 12-part series on Israel’s security barrier.

Click on 972mag.com/app and you’ll be taken to the App Store. +972 This Week is free to download, and comes with a sample issue with highlights from the past year. Several other issues are already on the shelves and ready for purchase. A subscription is $3.99 a month and there is a free trial period. Each Friday, we will publish a new edition of the magazine, with a selection of articles published over the previous seven days and an introduction that highlights the major themes in the news and human interest stories we have covered.

We hope you will enjoy this new +972 reading experience. And, as always, we welcome your feedback.

Yours,

Lisa Goldman
Editor, +972 This Week
