+972 Magazine needs your support

+972 Magazine relies entirely on grants and on the generous donations of our readers. Donate now and help us provide fresh news and analyses for our hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide. Any amount you choose to give goes a long way in sustaining this project!

The best way to support +972 Magazine is by becoming a “972 sustainer,” through a small monthly donation. Alternatively, you can use the “donate” button to make a one-time contribution.

Why PayPal?

+972 is a registered non-profit in Israel. Paypal is the safest, simplest way to transfer money internationally, using all currencies and with relatively low fees. By using PayPal, you guarantee that no one (including us) has access to your credit card information, and if you choose monthly support, you can stop your subscription at any time.

Note that you do not need to open a PayPal account to process a donation – after clicking on the “donate” or “subscribe” buttons, you will be given the option to log into PayPal OR to bill your credit card without opening an account.

However, if you do not want to use PayPal, some alternative donation options are listed below:

Tax deductible donations and other ways to give:

Donations greater than $100 USD, that are made by check, are tax deductible in the United States and the United Kingdom. Checks should be made out to the "New Israel Fund", and should be clearly noted as being for “972 – Advancement of Citizen Journalism”.

To learn more about this process, drop us a line at with the subject line: "Tax deductible donation".

You can also send us a check or wire money directly to +972’s account. Write to us at telling us your preferred payment option, and we will send you instructions.

Where donations go?

Donations to +972 Magazine are used for the site’s on-going expenses: editing services, web servers and occasional writers’ expenses. The vast majority of the writing in the project is done on a volunteer basis.

All donations go to “972 – Advancement of Citizen Journalism,” a registered non-profit established by the +972 Magazine collective in order to support and manage our project. By following this link, you can find 972 – Advancement of Citizen Journalism’s entry at the Registrar of Non-Profits in Israel, and also view the latest available audits.
