  1. Great article, Dahlia, although I would argue that Israel will never argue that hasbara efforts have been rendered helpless. I think Israel will never be convinced that hasbara sometimes doesn’t work because there isn’t a good enough explanation, nekudah. We will always think that we simply didn’t explain well enough. The biggest problem with our propaganda is that it’s sincere.

  3. Sorry Dahlia, my ideas are not tired but accepted by 4 billion people. Only the US stands in the way of restoring Palestine to the Palestinians. Deleting my comments doesnt diminish the potency of my ideas. Your colleauge Joseph Dana has signed on to BDS, and Yossi Gurwitz has stated that the creation of the zionist entity was a mistake. When are you going to join their league?

  5. It is worth remembering that the Security Council has already passed 3 resolutions – 446, 452 and 465 – demanding that Israel cease settlement building and remove existing settlements. The US abstained on 446 and 452, but voted for 465. These were passed in 1979/80 when the number of Jewish settlers in the occupied territories was around 10,000 (compared with 500,000 today). Think of the difference it would have made if the international community had enforced those resolutions.
