		<description>This is NOT Jewish land. Jews left the land more than a thousand years ago. Maybe a few stayed but no Jews came to what you say is Jewish land for at least a thousand years. 

It was European anti-semitism that caused a group of Zionist Jews to decide that since Jews were not liked in Europe (why not?) the Jews needed a place of their own and it didn&#039;t matter who was already there. They would have to go .  

Most Jews, including my great-grandparents, did not go to Palestine. They did not look at the land as theirs. They came to the US and lived decent lives. I am grateful that they did not head to Palestine. But then, had I been born in Israel, I likely would have been a part or 972mag or B&#039;Tselem as I was brought up to know that you cannot take land from another and that if you do you will pay the consequences.</description>
