As a on and off participant on the “our land” group and other similar forums I’ve seen many postings by Greta that where blatantly racist, from denying and mocking the holocaust to rationalising the murder of Jewish civilians and even Olympic athletes in 72.

however at the time of writing this story I’m guessing you didn’t know her history, however now that all her other postings on the same issue have been made public are you standing by your assertion that Greta was slandered or are you going to be a journalist of some integrity and write a retraction?

First off, regarding the left-wing and propagandist comment, I would smile, cough pointedly and say “No comment.”
Second, Ms. Berlin fucked up, pardon my language, because A) her beliefs are disgusting, B) she outright lied and kept lying about them and C) the Palestinian solidarity movement can’t keep up the pretense that they’re hugely liked and/or supported without presenting a faux-moderate face (or a cheerfully non-moderate one, such as the times they explain how benevolent and wonderful a one-state solution is) and she completely ruined that for them. Supporters like Larry, who is a good writer, aside, she’s become a millstone around her pet cause’s neck. They can either keep her around and suffer a long-term PR defeat or get rid of her and get ripped by hard-core believers. They can’t win–and I’m really happy to see that taking place.

This has been nothing more than an obvious witch-hunt, and the great irony in all of this is that some of the people who have chosen to take part in this slander are people who have been slandered themselves with the same baseless allegations. What a pity that they’ve stooped to the same level.

I note one of the people claiming that none of them are holocaust deniers was herself a member of a holocaust denial page “holocaust lies exposed” , so her words don’t carry a lot of weight. As for Greta herself, she has previously expressed the view that the zionists collaborated with the Nazis and so her posting the video seems inline with this. She has, however, banned members from a forum who have expressed hatred towards Jews and blamed Jews as a whole etc. She has also said to me that she accepts Israel will exist but that people , not nations, are eternal and there is no guarantee that Israel will exist in the future or exist in its current form(which would mean a one state solution.)

“I’ve spoken to Greta…” So have a lot of us. Many of us have debated her in online forums, and her clutch of defenders here have made similar comments in those forums as antisemitic as Greta’s (Hello, Fadwa! Hello, Rim!). If even the Electronic Intifada is disavowing her, you must know that this is not “hasbara” but rather that she is a proven racist hater.

Then there are also the people who spout all kinds of anti-Semitic propaganda and then insist they are not anti-Semites because as far as they are concerned it is all true. There was one on here a few months back that kept insisting that there must be a Jewish conspiracy because Israel was created and continues to exist. For him, Israel’s existence was proof of the validity of anti-Semitism.

If you count the boats of armed fighters from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and elsewhere, then probably several hundred flotillas.

The difference is, when boats are sent to Gaza, they have to be unarmed so that Israeli commandos can easily murder them, whereas when they are sent to Syria it’s apparently okay to be armed and violent.
