What is happening here happened in the US, quick and slow, with several, sometimes massive, forced transfers involving many deaths along the way.

The events you detail show why almost all are silent over Israel’s Declaration of Independence. The placement of new Jewish towns within the State while Arab citizens are forceably relocated would be incompatible with the Declaration’s promise of full equality in social rights.

Instead, law is channeled solely through the Knesset. One cannot sustain equal rights for minorities under such sole determination of law. Rather, the prior war with weapons for land control becomes a legal expulsion. Israel has yet to halt its war of Independence. Until that war is seen as over, or declared so by the Courts, there can be no attempt at equal protection under the law.

Without a constitution, Israel’s history shows that equal protection is–at best–a matter for the majority, controling race; and that is no equal protection at all.

A description of the forced transfer of some of Israel’s most impoverished and disenfranchised citizens is brushed off as ‘not ideal’. Then the subject is swiftly changed to religious Jews’ prayers of return to Jerusalem (as though these somehow cancel out the deprivation and discrimination experienced by Negev Bedouin now). ‘Hasbara’ doesn’t even begin to describe it. Cruel might be a better word.

I think ‘palestinian’ needs lessons in English.
In all countries in the world, at some point, citizens are moved and/or resettled.
Ehnic Cleansing means ejecting people from their countries, as the Jews were from the Arab/Muslim lands after 1948.
The Beduin will still be in the NEGEV, albeit in new villages/settlements (though they may not be ideal).
Khazarian seems to be your new word.
Jews originated in the Middle East, and as with all other groups of people, were expelled/moved all over the world.
Witness the burgeoning population of Arabs/Muslims, Africans and South East Asians in the West. And the Westerners moving to the East and the South.
The difference is that Jews always prayed to return to the ‘LAND OF ISRAEL’ and ‘JERUSALEM’.
Read all the Jewish Religous and Historical books.
Read ‘The Thirteenth Tribe by Aurthur Koestler’ for the source of your comments.
