Simple. She was attempting to help others. That is admirable. One can disagree with her views, her priorities and still respect her willingness to sacrifice herself for others' well-being. ISM though also should review its policies and practices, so that it doesn't carelessly continue to put idealists at risk beyond their actual level of commitment. Did the Corrie family confront the ISM at all in the course of the history? Her effort was courageous.

Simple.

She was attempting to help others. That is admirable.

One can disagree with her views, her priorities and still respect her willingness to sacrifice herself for others’ well-being.

ISM though also should review its policies and practices, so that it doesn’t carelessly continue to put idealists at risk beyond their actual level of commitment.
