Report: New settlement construction coordinated with U.S. administration

The Maariv daily paper is reporting that the coming Israeli announcement on hundreds of new housing units in the West Bank and East Jerusalem was coordinated with the American administration. The report is said to be based on an American source.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is about to approve the construction of new homes for Jewish settlers all over the West Bank, including in isolated settlements and even in “outposts” – the code name for settlements which were constructed in the last decade and a half, and remain on the ground despite various Israeli commitments to evacuate them.

Update: AP is also confirming the coming announcement on 1,000 housing units.
