Minister exemplifies how Israel makes a laughingstock of U.S.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s promise yesterday to build 851 more housing units in the West Bank got the Americans “angry,” as usual:

“The US position on Israeli settlements is clear – we do not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity. We also oppose any effort to legalize settlement outposts,” the official said.

Yada, yada, yada. Been there, heard that. If I had a buck for every time a State Department official condemned settlement activity, I’d have more than Warren Buffet.

And guess what? Israeli officials don’t even bother to hide how they take America for a dupe. Here’s what Ariel Attias (Shas), Minister of Construction and Housing, said to Army Radio this morning:

They condemn. We build.

It’s a pretty simple game once you get the hang of it.

You hear this and you finally realize that we are in the middle of a horror show of a performance… is it Rocky Horror? It has a cult following (AIPAC)who perform it at midnight… there are seductions, and mutilations and in the end we ask what planet are we on!?!?!

Great headline Ami. It works two ways.
Yes, the Israeli Minister makes a laughing stock of the U.S.
At the same time, the Israeli Minister makes a laughing stock of US.
Those of us who have opposed, voiced, written, demonstrated against 45 years of occupation for decades.
As far as he and the Netanyahu government are concerned, we are the true Yada Yada Yada-ites.

As long as the US government is under AIPAC occupation, nothing will change. This nest of treason undermines the power of the state and no one in Washington dares raise a voice to say so.

Bibi better hope and pray that Romney wins in November, because Obama redux will most likely mean some payback for all this crap. If I were Bibi, I would instruct the Mossad to make a new cyber weapon that will infiltrate and spy on the Obama campaign – kind of like Obama-Flame.

The game is that the US isn’t about to take measures against Israel because of a couple of houses built on disputed land. The same applies to the Europeans. This is entirely obvious to everyone outside of 972mag.
      .

Also whether Obama or Romney get reelected will have no impact on this issue.

Danny ; “If I were Bibi, I would instruct the Mossad to make a new cyber weapon that will infiltrate and spy on the Obama campaign – kind of like Obama-Flame.”

It is not necessary. The spies are part of the campaign team. Obama is surrounded already – no matter where he turns on his second term, his hands – and feet – and those of the American people – will be tied.. The Lobby doesn’t care all that much who wins – Romney or Obama. they probably prefer the latter since an Obama in the White House cows the left into submission.

It was nice – once upon a time – when America was a free country – free to pursue its own policies based on its own interests.
