NIF has issued a series of clarifications which do nothing to allay concerns that it has caved to essentially an ideological purity test for grantees. Until NIF clearly REJECTS the purity test (Israel as a Jewish state) and AFFIRMS the primacy of Israeli democracy over ethnocracy, I'm going to be writing checks to all the groups that it no longer will consider funding.
