If the law applies to all, I suggest it be implemented with Neturai Karta, who openly oppose a Zionist state. The Rabbis who visited Iran should be stripped of their citizenship.
That would be a great place to start!

michael, a global answer, not specific on the knesset.

to pass a law one need a majority of votes (called simple majority or more than half). many laws in many parliaments around the world are passed by a majority of votes, but not of seats, because some mps were absent. in some cases one need a supermajority (like 2/3) or a absolute majority (majority of the entire membership) for example to change a constitution.

I say the world just start mirroring Israeli government behavior towards the Jews in their own countries. Sounds harsh? Well what else will get the diaspora to cut the head off of Bibi’s government?

An amendment that I fully support, and one that makes me want to consider joining Lieberman’s party. Being an Israeli citizen is mutually exclusive with attempting to undermine the state or carrying out political terrorism.

“37-11″? I thought you needed 61 votes to get a majority in a 120 seat parliament. And I didn’t hear that this was in committee level. Can someone explain to me why only 48 voted?
