Although, as I “right-winger” I unequivocally condemn my fellow “right-wingers” who carried out this totally unnecessary provocation, wouldn’t it have been a refreshing change had the residents of Um el-Fahem greeted the demonstrators, not with rocks and bottles and riots, but with flowers and offers to sit and drink coffee and to discuss the differences between the two groups in a civilized manner, for a change? All that the residents did was reinforce most Israelis already negative image of them.

    2. Are you serious? would you hand coffee to someone who publicly calls for you to be expelled, who views you as sub-human and thinks intermarriage should be banned by law (that’s what Kahane said)?

It’s not about political “differences”, but racism and persecution, and you don’t greet these with Baqlawah.

Just a reminder–Muslim Sharia law prohibits Muslim women from marrying non-Muslim men (the opposite is permitted). The penalty is death by way of family-honor killings. So don’t just blame the Jews for “racism”.
