If there were true courts in the occupation, the State of Israel might be paying Tamimi much more than a 5000 NIS.  There is no way such assault would not be considered a violation of constitutional rights--if they existed.  But:  no occupation, no rights, only humble submission allowed.

I still have doubts over the wisdom of this civil protest.  It seems a dead end, which is what the IDF wants all such to be, in any case.</description>
